We are a leading mobile game company and are looking for some junior porting engineers. You should have a major in computer science and be very proficient with C.
The porting engineer will be responsible for porting new and legacy applications to multiple mobile devices. The engineer will work closely with QA, art, and production to effectively and efficiently cover all viable devices. The salary range is 45-60k, with benefits.

Responsibilities include:
-porting new and legacy applications to Brew and J2ME handsets
-refactoring existing code to work on low-end, low-memory devices
-debugging and optimizing source code
-researching and prototyping new application and game ideas
-maintaining legacy applications
-creating internal tools for porting, building, QA, etc.
Qualifications:
-proficient in C/C++ and Java
-iPhone, objC/Cocoa touch, perl, python, ant, ruby, sql a plus
-working knowledge of design patterns and client-server architecture
-good communication and documentation skills
-attention to detail and quality
Compensation: 45-60k, with benefits
